5 healthy products which contain calcium
We all need calcium in order to have healthy bones but milk and other products like that aren’t the only ones that can help us. Include in your menu these products and you will surely be healthier:
Cheese
For not keeping it simple try preparing a special meal by frying bread and adding mozzarella and some leafs of basil.
Broccoli
If you like vegetables, broccoli is the best choice for you as it contains a lot of calcium and potassium. We advise you to consume it in salads and adding a dressing made of yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, oregano or a guacamole sauce. For double quantity of calcium combine broccoli with hummus.
Yogurt
Its advantage is that you can mix it with all kind of ingredients: cereals (with no sugar), fresh fruits and all kind of seeds you like: pumpkin, nuts etc. be careful, you should choose those which are not salted. If you want it to be sweet, mix it with honey.
Sardines
Beside calcium and vitamin B12 and D, sardines have a big amount of Omega 3, important ally in fighting oldness. Another advantage is the low amount of Mercury compared to other types of fish we usually eat. You can eat them as they are prepared in cans or after laying them on toast.
Almonds
You can eat them as they are when watching TV, or mixed in salads with cereals or yogurt. Choose always green almond as they contain much more calories.
