How to choose a sport fit to your job
No matter you work all day long standing up or seated at your office you should practice a job to keep you in good shape. It depends on the type of work you do.
An important rule is to avoid a sport which solicits your body the same as your job. In this way you will emend the unhealthy habits created by your job.
Seated all day long
You have to stay all day long seated on a chair or in your car driving? You body needs to relax in this case. The sport we recommend you is jogging, walking, cycling or gymnastics.
Do sports especially outside your house as you have to stay locked inside your office, for example, all day long.
Talking to the phone all day
You work all day long having an earphone and answering to nervous clients? Or, on the contrary you are the one calling people? The sports appropriate for you are the ones which help you concentrate such as gymnastics, yoga, sword play.
Sitting up all day long
You sit on a chair only for a small amount of time? Don’t think at practicing jogging, basket or tennis. You should prevent blood circulation problems by practicing a sport such as swimming, cycling or aqua gym.
A job by night
If your have to work by night it means your body goes through a hormonal disparity. The price you may pay is getting weight, behavioral problems or even psychical ones.
This is the case of flight attendants whose biologic rhythm is jet-lagged. You should try jogging, swimming, cycling or walking. Any sport done on daylight is appropriate.
Doing every day the same thing
A kind of job which forces you to do repetitive gestures will affect in time your hamstrings. So you should choose a sport which doesn’t solicit too much your articulation such as volleyball. On the contrary activities which solicit your legs are better. If you must walk a lot by day choose sports such as swimming or gymnastics.
You work isolated or in a team
You work a lot at home and the only way to socialize is by phone? Practice a team sport such as basketball, volleyball, dancing, karate or judo. If you like individual sports choose cycling or jogging.
You are very stressed at work
In this case all kind of activities are good just pay attention to avoid those which make you concentrate or compete to other people.
