How to wake up easier in the morning
You cancel everyday the alarm for 5 minutes until you end up getting late to work? If it’s hard for you to wake up let’s see some tips which will ease your morning wake up.
Move the alarm
If the clock or your phone is right next to you, you will feel tempted to cancel the alarm. Set it in another corner of the room so that you have to get up of your bed to stop it.
Once you get up, it’s easier to start the day. Choose a sound of alarm which doesn’t irritate you. Some prefer nature sounds while others their favorite song.
Set a sleeping schedule
If you know it’s hard for you to wake up in the morning, help your body. Sleep each night at the same hour and maintain the same waking hour everyday no matter if it’s weekend. Sometime you need a routine. If you like, prepare yourself a relaxing tea every night before going to sleep.
Use the natural light
If it’s dark in your bedroom, before going to sleep draw your curtains so that in the morning natural light wakens you up. Day light helps your body stop producing melatonin – sleep hormone, in the morning.
When you find it difficult to wake up, it is well to do some moves as soon as the alarm rings. So, after stopping the alarm start doing some exercises or some yoga to stimulate your body and brain. Do also some stretching moves in the morning.
A refreshing shower can be the appropriate solution for you. Alternate the water temperature from cold to warm in order to stimulate the lymphatic system. Use a mint shower gel as the smell will invade your senses.
Eat and drink smart
If you go to bed immediately after eating or when you are too hungry it will be hard for you to sleep. This is why you wake up hard in the morning. Don’t eat some hours before going to sleep and drink water only if you are thirsty.
