I want to lose weight! Tips& tricks for keeping a diet at the beginning of the year
I want to lose weight – a resolution that many of us note in the wish list made at the beginning of every year. The good news is that you don’t have to keep up a harsh diet: you can obtain good results by applying only some diet tricks.
In order to succeed the best is to keep a healthy life style instead of keeping a harsh diet for a while and after that coming back to old habits. Do little changes but often and even if you do mistakes sometimes try to return to the healthy diet. Let’s see some tricks:
Eat breakfast correctly!
Breakfast is a very important meal of the day and it’s essential to be made of healthy aliments. Forget sausages and other food like that and eat cereals in whole grain (oat, rye, corn), fruits and vegetables, cheese and yogurt. Do interesting food combinations which should not become be boring.
Eat more fruits
Replace sweets cleverly! The secret is to introduce many fruits in your daily alimentation to compensate the need to eat sweets. For example eat all sort of fruits (apples, oranges, grapes) and replace them constantly. When you feel like eating something sweet choose a cereal bar or a yogurt.
Do healthier shopping
When you go shopping try to spend more time in the stores where you can find fruits, vegetables or other aliments that don’t have a lot of sugar, salt or preservatives. Focus on healthy food and refuse to waste time in the places where processed food is stored, otherwise you will be tempted to buy something.
Don’t jump over meals
Probably, it isn’t the first time you hear such advise but you should understand that it is very important to eat 3 meals/day, or your body will start retaining grease instead of burning it. So eat breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. You will keep your metabolism going and lose weight.
When we are tired we use to eat more and we try to regain our energy by drinking coffee or eating sweets. Try to go to bed earlier and solve your problems related to sleep if they exist. Sleeping is very important not only for losing weight, but also for your health.
We couldn’t talk about losing weight without mentioning sport. Exercises are very important for your health and general condition. Start easy if you are not an active person. Walk in the park, climb the stairs instead of using the elevator, or walk more on your way back home, instead of taking the bus.
